Alamo Heights Garage has provided automotive service since 1958.  At Alamo Heights Garage, we are dedicated to our customers.   

History

John and Lee Pundt opened Alamo Heights Garage at 111 Patterson in October 1958. After several years they moved their location to 102 Poco St. In 1977 they moved to 110 Chichester in Alamo Heights (suburb of San Antonio) and were there for 30 years.They began with 3 mechanics, including John. Lee took care of the bookkeeping and had an assistant who helped her take care of the customers. Those days were very busy for John and Lee, running a business while raising their 5 children. Their dedication to their customers and honest business practices caught the attention of many in the community and their business thrived.

As the business grew, they had to add mechanics (now technicians) and additional staff to make sure their customers received the best possible service.

John Pundt passed away in June 1986. After that Lee took over the business and continued its success with assistance by their youngest son, Gary. In 1997, after 39 years, Lee decided that she was ready to retire and turn over the helm to Gary. In July 1997 Gary, and his wife, Darla, bought the business from Lee. The business continues to thrive as they provide the same commitment to their customers and honest business practices. Darla and Gary have brought additional skills and abilities through their experiences and education enabling them to continue to improve the service they provide to their customers.

At Alamo Heights Garage we are well prepared to service our customers in the new millennium. We currently employ 4 full-time technicians, and 4 full-time staff to service our customer's automotive needs. For more information, see our section on personnel.

At Alamo Heights Garage our mission is to provide complete automotive service to all our customers in an honest, professional and timely manner. We want each customer's experience to be pleasant, convenient, and stress-free.   Our Code Of Ethics states,
